My Story

Growing up, I was an extremely introspective and sensitive child with a calm, peaceful, and caring nature. I vividly recall one day, at the age of three, screaming from my family home balcony, asking everyone to save a man I saw crossing the street. He was carrying two large bags that appeared very heavy to me, and I was terrified the cars would run him over. I screamed over and over:

"HELP! HELP! HELP! Please save his life, please save his life!”

My mum rushed towards me, trying to work out what was happening with my intense screaming. She hugged me and reassured me that the man was fine. That moment – and many others – revealed how deeply caring for others and a strong desire to help people had been instilled in me from an early age.

At eight years old, I often woke up in the stillness of the night, pondering the big questions in life:
What is life? Why do we have mothers, fathers, and siblings? What does it all mean? One day they will die, and I will be alone.

As I lay in bed, I would close my eyes and imagine the vast space of the universe, seeing my physical body lying there as I connected with the stars. I began to associate the stars with my spiritual life among the darkness of the universe – the Quantum Field, the spiritual dimension of human life.

One day, I asked my mum:
"Mum, what is life?"

She replied,
"Life is… you are born, you are a baby, you grow up, go to school and university, find a job, get married, have children, then you grow old and you die. And then everything will start all over again."

I pondered her reply quietly, but I felt the answer wasn’t enough. I remember thinking:
Is that all? Can life really be summarised in just one sentence?

That question marked the beginning of my lifelong journey to understand life’s deeper meaning.

Throughout my corporate career, I was naturally drawn to helping others – colleagues, friends, and even strangers – through informal coaching and guidance. I witnessed many people struggling with life’s challenges and feeling lost. This inspired me to take a new direction and dedicate myself to coaching professionally, guiding as many people as possible to overcome their challenges and discover their life purpose.

My first professional training as an NLP Practitioner was in 2014. I applied my knowledge and skills throughout my career and later pursued advanced certifications, becoming a Master Practitioner in Hypnotherapy, Time Line Therapy®, and Neurolinguistic Coaching.

I founded Maria Stars Hypnotherapy and Coaching to help people break free from emotional habits, overcome limitations, and reconnect with their true potential.

My mission is to guide as many individuals as possible to manage life’s challenges by:

• Unlocking the power of self-discovery
   
• Eliminating limiting beliefs
   
• Releasing emotional habits such as smoking, vaping, compulsive shopping, and more
   
• Reconnecting with their true life purpose and fulfillment
   

What sets my approach apart is its holistic nature. I believe in addressing the mind, body, and spirit as interconnected parts of who we are. Through holistic hypnotherapy and coaching, I create safe and transformative experiences that lead to lasting change in every area of life.
